Anyone capable of convincing themselves of something so transparently idiotic that by all rights *should* be contrary to their own experience is someone who adopts such a sophomoric and grotesque ability to ignore and unevenly weight facts as needed as to be totally bereft of and beyond the grasp of anything approaching reason. They have *their own version* of logic, which isn't, but displaying that to them requires their accession to actual logic...

Reality is irrelevant, and they're so far removed from it I have about as hard a time being mad about it as I'd have being mad at the Emperor of San Francisco. That's why I'm pretending it can be treated as a Zen paradox, because actual contemplation of their idiocy is an actual challenge when viewed in the frame of reason.
